The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 Production Starts
Andrew Richardson, Zubin Varla and Adam Young the cast of the Prime Video fantasy series
Prime Video have today third season, for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power which recently began filming at the series’ new production home at Shepperton Studios.
The streaming channel also confirmed the Third Season cast has expanded by three. With Andrew Richardson, Zubin Varla and Adam Young have ed the cast.
The trio of British actors won’t be the only new faces in The Lord Of The Rings spin-off series. Earlier this year it was announced that Jamie Campbell Bowyer and Eddie Marsan are also ing the cast. At this stage we don’t know what characters they will be playing, all we know is they will be ‘recurring roles’.
Richardson has made a name for himself on the stage with several Television roles including Fantasy Island. Varla will be known by fans of Andor as Xanwan, he has already voice acted in The Rings Of Power. Young has appeared in Don’t Breathe 2, and on TV for The Witcher: Blood Origins.
The Rings Of Power takes place thousands of years before The Lord Of The Rings films. When the rise of a great iconic power threatens to cover Middle Earth in darkness. The rise of Sauron and the forging of the great rings and the one ring to rule them all.
Majority of the regular cast will be returning including Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, and Ismael Cruz Córdova. J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay will once again be the series showrunners as well executive producers
